Recording Artist & Curator, ARTZ connects with Director / Photographer Jaiel Perez for the music video "Tan Seats". Jaiel uses still imagery to tell his story and evoke feeling throughout the visual. With so many photos taken during the shoot, ARTZ & Jaiel decided to put together a Photo Album that encapsulates the music video and the vibe. I had lost my best friend to drugs during the month of September and was searching for answers to the question, "Why him?" I have always been obsessed with death and this particular loss was a catalyst for me. If I could not get the answer I needed elsewhere, I would make a place where I could. I dove headfirst into writing and, as an homage to my friend, developed a world of the unknown filled with supernatural creatures that shape destinies. It was a labor of love in a time of grief and what is grief if not love persevering?
